Rune Priests

The Rune Priests are the mystics and psykers of the Space Wolves, drawing upon their traditions of Fenris to wield their psychic gifts in battle.

They call upon the fury of the storm, cast the runes to seek wisdom and warning, and stand as guides to their brothers when threats beyond mortal understanding arise.

To become a Rune Priest is to walk a path of discipline and wisdom. Raw psychic strength alone is not enough.

An aspirant must learn to master their abilities, understand the traditions and runes of Fenris, and wield their power without allowing the Warp to master them in return.

Beyond battle, Rune Priests serve as seers, counsellors and keepers of Fenrisian lore.

Through the casting and interpretation of runes they may seek signs of what lies ahead, advise the warriors and leaders of the Chapter, and investigate matters touched by the Warp.

Though outsiders may regard them simply as psykers, the Sons of Russ know them as something more: storm-callers, rune-casters and wise men of Fenris who carry traditions stretching back to the earliest days of the Chapter.
