Sermons

Sermons are what the Reclusiam use to bolster their Brothers and prepare them for combat or other duties. They are to increase morale or guide the Astartes to greater feats of strength, both mind and body. It is highly encouraged to create your own Sermons, but there are guidelines that will help those who struggle to create speeches that will lift hearts and minds alike.

“Brothers, before us stands the enemy. They believe they can break our resolve, shatter our ranks, and stain the honor of the Imperium. They are mistaken. We are the sons of Russ. We do not fear death, for every warrior knows his saga is written through courage and sacrifice. Today we fight not for glory, but for duty. Stand beside your brothers, hold true to your oaths, and let the enemy learn why the howl of Fenris is feared across the stars. For Russ. For the Allfather.”

Gather, Brothers. Another warrior joins the honored dead. His watch has ended, his duty fulfilled. Let none mourn his passing with despair. Instead, remember his deeds, his courage, and the blood he shed for his pack. Though his voice is silent, his saga remains. As long as his brothers remember him, he shall never truly be gone. May Russ welcome him, and may the Allfather judge him worthy.”

“Look around you, Brothers.
The field is stained with blood. Some of it is the enemy's. Some of it is our own. Such is the price of war. Yet despite every hardship, every wound, and every loss, we still stand. Not because we are stronger than every foe, but because we refuse to yield. Remember this day. Remember the brothers who fought beside you. Let their courage guide you in the battles yet to come. The enemy tested us and found us unbroken.”

“Brothers, today we march against traitors. They have abandoned their oaths and turned from the Emperor's light. We shall remind them of the cost of such treachery. Hold fast to your duty, trust in your brothers, and let your actions honor those who came before us. For the Allfather.”
